What are ground protection mats made from?

Most of our mats are made from virgin High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is extremely strong and lightweight. Some from our heavy-duty range are made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).
What size ground protection mat do I need?

4×8 & 3×8 ground protection mats are the most common. 4×8’s provide more coverage while 3×8’s are easier to move. If you have additional questions, please email us with and we can make a specific recommendation.
How thick are your ground protection mats?

These ground protection mats for sale are 0.5″ thick.Other thicknesses can be customized.
Why Ground Protection Mats?

Ground conditions play a significant role in field operations and projects that need access to remote sites. uneven ground conditions，wet or muddy can cause projects to be delayed or even halted. This can lead to significant commercial losses such as unrecoverable management time, loss of reputation, the effect on future workloads and the impact on project completion and profits. Are HDPE ground protection mats prone to cracking or bending?

All ground protection mats will flex to follow ground contours. However due to the exceptionally high grade of HDPE used in our ground protection mats, they are guaranteed against cracking or breaking.
